Tips received during 2010 have assisted in recovering over $16,000.00 in
property with over $2,800.00 paid out for tips resulting in arrests. If you
have information on any crimes taking place in Pike County IL, you are urged
to call Pike County Crime Stoppers at 217-285-1500. All tips are
anonymous. You will never be asked to identify yourself or give any
personal information about yourself. If you call in a tip, you will be
given a tip number. You must retain the tip number for any future contacts
regarding your Crime Stopper tip. If your tip results in an arrest and a
payout is awarded, you must call Crime Stoppers with your assigned tip
number to receive instructions on how to collect your reward.

4/27/14
The Pike County Sheriff’s Department is
investigating a burglary which took place on or about April 15, 2014 at
33839 County Highway 6 near Baylis IL. Unknown person(s) entered a farm
building and stole a walk behind Swisher weed trimmer. If you have any
information on this or any other crimes taking place in Pike County, you are
urged to call Pike County Crime Stoppers at (217)285-1500 to leave an
anonymous tip. If your tip leads to an arrest, you will be eligible for a
cash reward.

Fugitive of the Week
The Pike County Sheriff’s Department
is seeking the whereabouts of 24-year-old Kali L Kenady, a white female
who stands 5 foot 5 inches, weighs 130 pounds, has brown hair, and blue
eyes. Kenady is wanted on a Pike County IL warrant for Driving Under
The Influence, Leaving The Scene Of An Accident, and Driving In Wrong
Lane. Kenady’s last known address was Barry IL. If you know the
whereabouts of Kenady, or have information on any other crimes taking
place in Pike County, call Crime Stoppers at (217)285-1500. All calls
are anonymous and if your tip is used in making an arrest you will be
eligible for a cash reward.

County Crimestoppers General Notice
Crimestoppers would like to take this opportunity to remind you of a few
small steps you can take to help yourself from becoming a crime victim.
Lock all doors and windows in your house. While making plans to leave for
an extended time, remember to arrange for someone to watch over your house
while you are away. Remember to also remove keys and lock the doors on your
vehicle while unattended, even while parked in your driveway. If you have
any information on any crime in Pike County, you are urged to call
Crimestoppers at 217-285-1500. If your tip is used in making an arrest, you
will be eligible for a cash reward.
Crime Stoppers holds its monthly meetings at the Pike County Sheriff's
Department on the second Thursday of the month. Crime Stoppers is run by a
Board of Directors, which consists entirely of volunteers from the Crime
Stopper Membership. Crime Stoppers is always looking for new members who
wish to make a difference in their community.
