Tips received during 2010 have assisted in recovering over $16,000.00 in
property with over $2,800.00 paid out for tips resulting in arrests. If you
have information on any crimes taking place in Pike County IL, you are urged
to call Pike County Crime Stoppers at 217-285-1500. All tips are
anonymous. You will never be asked to identify yourself or give any
personal information about yourself. If you call in a tip, you will be
given a tip number. You must retain the tip number for any future contacts
regarding your Crime Stopper tip. If your tip results in an arrest and a
payout is awarded, you must call Crime Stoppers with your assigned tip
number to receive instructions on how to collect your reward.

04/22/12
The Pittsfield Police are seeking information regarding burglaries of three separate businesses on W. Washington St in Pittsfield. The crimes were discovered on 04/15/12 with reports of Cleary
Building Corp., Donohoo’s Barber shop, and Carter Network Realty all being forcefully entered. A company car was driven away from Cleary Building Corp and returned with excessive damage also during the same time. If you have any information on this or any other crimes taking place in
Pike County IL, you are urged to call the Pike County Crime Stoppers at 217-285-1500. All calls are anonymous and if your tips is used in making an arrest, you will be eligible for a cash reward.

07/23/12
The Pike County Sheriff’s Department is seeking information on the whereabouts of 22 year old Anthony W Piper who is wanted on a $100,000.00 warrant for Bringing Contraband into a Penal
Institution. Piper is a white male who stands 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighs 150 pounds, with a last known address of Pittsfield IL. If you have any information on this or any other crime taking place in Pike County, you are asked to call Crimestoppers at 217-285-1500. All callers
remain anonymous and if an arrest is made with information provided, you will be eligible for a cash reward.

County Crimestoppers General Notice
Crimestoppers would like to take this opportunity to remind you of a few
small steps you can take to help yourself from becoming a crime victim.
Lock all doors and windows in your house. While making plans to leave for
an extended time, remember to arrange for someone to watch over your house
while you are away. Remember to also remove keys and lock the doors on your
vehicle while unattended, even while parked in your driveway. If you have
any information on any crime in Pike County, you are urged to call
Crimestoppers at 217-285-1500. If your tip is used in making an arrest, you
will be eligible for a cash reward.
Crime Stoppers holds its monthly meetings at the Pike County Sheriff's
Department on the second Thursday of the month. Crime Stoppers is run by a
Board of Directors, which consists entirely of volunteers from the Crime
Stopper Membership. Crime Stoppers is always looking for new members who
wish to make a difference in their community.

organization, call 285-1500 and ask to be sent information. If you have called
Crimestoppers in the past, you may have a reward coming to you. Call and find
out. You must have your confidential Crimestoppers number when you call.
