The Pike County Sheriff’s Department is investigating two separate reports of Residential Burglaries located in rural Griggsville IL.   The first report was received on 02/01/10 and the second report was received on 02/03/10.  If you have any information about either of these two burglaries, you are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 217-285-1500.  Your call will remain anonymous and if your tip leads to an arrest, you will be eligible for a cash reward.

Fugitive of the Week

02/14/10

The Pike County Sheriff’s Department is seeking the whereabouts of William A Street, a male who stands 6 feet one inch tall, weighs 170 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes.  Street’s last known address was New Salem IL.  Street is wanted on two Pike County warrants with a total bond amount set at $12,500.00. If you know the whereabouts of Street, you are asked to call Crimestoppers at 217-285-1500.  Your call will remain confidential and if your tip is used in making an arrest, you will be eligible for a cash reward.

Crime Stoppers holds its monthly meetings at the Pike County Sheriff's Department on the second Thursday of the month. Crime Stoppers is run by a Board of Directors, which consists entirely of volunteers from the Crime Stopper Membership. Crime Stoppers is always looking for new members who wish to make a difference in their community.
