Crime and Fugitive of the Week


The Pike County Sheriff's Department is seeking information on the damage to playground equipment in Hull, Illinois at the West Pike Grade School on or about March 11th, 2007. The damage is to a basketball goal post that was pushed over by a vehicle. Also the Pike County Sheriff's Department is seeking information on an incident in Martinsburg that took place on or about March 20th, 2007, where a vehicle went off the roadway, crashed into a large shed, damaging the shed and left the scene.

If you have information on either of these incidents or any other crime in Pike County, Please call 285-1500. If you tip leads to the arrest of the individuals involved, you will receive a cash reward. Remember the call is completely confidential. There is no caller ID.

This weeks Fugitive of the Week is Larry N. Crossman. Crossman is wanted on a $10,000.00 Pike County Warrant for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender. Crossman is a 43 year old white male. Crossman is 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighs 147 pounds, has brown hair and green eyes. Crossman's last known address is in Griggsville Illinois.


If you know the whereabouts of Crossman, please call The Pike County Crime Stoppers at 217-285-1500. If the information you provide leads to Crossman's arrest, you will be eligible for a cash reward.
