Fugitive of the Week


The Pike County Sheriff's Department is seeking information on the theft of $400.00 to $450.00 worth of gasoline from Hull. The gasoline was stolen on or about March 6th, 2007 from a storage tank at the old bowling alley. The lock on the tank was cut.

If you have information on this theft or any other crime in Pike County, Please call 285-1500. If your tip leads to the arrest of the individuals involved, you will receive a cash reward.

This weeks Fugitive of the Week is Jessie D Cox. Cox is wanted on a $5,000.00 Pike County Warrant for Failure to Appear on a Delivery of Alcohol Charge. Cox is 30 year old white male. Cox is 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighs 160 pounds, has brown hair and green eyes. Cox's last known address is in Quincy Illinois.


If you know the whereabouts of Cox, please call The Pike County Crime Stoppers at 217-285-1500.  If the information you provide leads to Cox's arrest, you will be eligible for a cash reward.
